A cave on the grounds of a resort near Seneca Rocks, West Virginia, with guided cavern tours every day.

The story

The Seneca Indians used the front section of the caverns to smoke wild game, which led early settlers to call the place Smoke Hole. After the Civil War, early settlers and immigrants used the caverns to make corn whiskey, with perhaps as many as 20 stills operating at one time. An original still remains on display today. The caverns are now operated as a show cave with guided tours.
