The cave tied to the Bell Witch legend, about 40 minutes from Nashville, with 40-minute guided tours plus a John Bell cabin tour, open seasonally.
The Bell Witch Cave is associated with the Bell family hauntings, which the site says date back to 1817. The cave is owned by John Bell, and the guided tour tells the story of the Bell Family hauntings. The Historic Bell Witch Cave has been placed on the National Historic Registry since April of 2008. The site also preserves artifacts from the original Bell cabin, such as a chimney stone and an iron kettle, displayed in a reconstructed John Bell cabin.
