A prehistoric storage cave near Fallon, Nevada, carved by ancient Lake Lahontan, known for its archaeological finds.

The story

Lake waters carved Hidden Cave around 21,000 years ago, and people used it thousands of years later mainly to store tools and supplies rather than to live in. Four schoolboys brought it to researchers' attention in the 1920s, and excavations in 1940, 1951 and 1979–1980 recovered carefully cached objects. It is closely connected to the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone community.
